Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
In times of increased IT security and compliance requirements, it has become useful and necessary for various industries to secure Windows logins via multi-factor authentication (MFA). There are different manufacturer solutions, each of which uses proprietary protocols in communication with the authentication server, eg the RSA protocol SDI.
WizLogin – RADIUS Credential Provider
The software WizLogin uses the open RADIUS protocol and is a RADIUS credential provider especially for use on Windows terminal servers (Windows 7 and up). This enables vendor-independent multi-factor authentication for both Remote Desktop and Citrix sessions. The Credential Security Support Provider (CredSSP) Protocol, also called Network Level Authentication, is supported.
